Sound Masking

Sound masking systems are installed by placing “emitters” (speakers) in a grid above drop-ceiling tiles or other built-in ceiling space. The system includes a generator and amplifier to produce a low-level background noise that masks speech, with zones calibrated to the specific space. Integration involves linking the system to the paging network to automatically turn down masking when an announcement is made.
