Paging Systems
Paging systems are installed by placing speakers (ceiling or horns) throughout a facility, with a 70-volt bus wiring structure for large spaces. An amplifier-interface is installed to bridge the paging system with a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone network. Integration with IP-PBX is handled via Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) gateways, allowing paging to work with IP phones and in conjunction with emergency notification systems.
