CCTV/Surveillance Systems
CCTV installation requires a site survey to determine optimal camera placement, followed by mounting the cameras and running structured cabling (usually PoE Cat6) back to an NVR (Network Video Recorder) or VMS (Video Management System). Integration involves configuring IP cameras with static IPs, setting up VLANs to segregate security traffic, and setting up motion analytics. The system is integrated with access control and alarms to provide real-time video verification of alerts. Systems may be capable of bio-metric data collection and/or automated using AI software to detect and report threats such as firearms or other hazards.
