Mesh Networks

Mesh network installation involves strategically placing nodes across a facility to ensure overlapping coverage. The primary node is connected directly to the modem via Ethernet, while satellite nodes are deployed through Ethernet networking or Wi-Fi to eliminate dead zones.

Configuration is typically managed through a vendor application, which automates mesh formation and connects the nodes into a unified network. For high-performance environments, a “wired backhaul” approach is used, connecting nodes through a switch rather than relying solely on wireless signal transmission.
